Coronavirus - COVID 19

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.I work under the guidelines of the Government regarding the present Coronavirus pandemic re safe working practices along with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) who are committed to sustaining and advancing good practices for clients.

Safe working Practice
I have attended courses to support safe working practices when working with counselling clients online and face to face. I have prepared a risk assessment and attached a Safe Working Practice document that outlines the measures put in place to mitigate the risk as much as possible for those clients that are struggling with their mental health and are unable to access or engage in online or telephone counselling.

I offer a free telephone consultation as an opportunity for you to ask questions and for me to explain how I work.  Together we can discuss and explore the options and choices that best suit your needs.

My insurance and clinical supervision support my face to face, online and telephone counselling services.
